All TFLA teachers will want to make participation in YOL 2005 one of their priorities. YOL 2005 is an opportunity to expand the public’s understanding of the role played by languages in all aspects of people’s lives, in society, and in the future of human and international relations. Information and form for submitting activities are available on the TFLA website at www.tfla.info
Deadline to submit activity forms: September 15, 2005 for recognition at fall conference; December 15, 2005 for recognition at spring conference.

In addition, those selected by the TFLA YOL 2005 Committee as the Top Twenty will be featured in the Newsletter and the teachers will be recognized in person at the fall or spring conferences, 2005-2006. Activities should be submitted in the format below by September, 2005. Multiple entries will be accepted. Activities will be judged on how well they incorporated the themes of YOL 2005 and involved students and/or the wider community in participating in the power of language learning!
