Location: Austin Renaissance
Date: October 11-13, 2012
Call for Proposals
the Call for Proposals for the TFLA Fall 2012 Conference is available on the website:
The theme for this conference is “Lighting the Way: Effective Teaching, Exceptional Learning.” The conference will run in seven strands, which are:
Learning Environment
Planning
Teaching the Lesson
Assessment
Resources
Collaboration
Professionalism
Proposals must address the theme and fall into one of these seven strands. This call will close on May 1, 2012.
We will also have, for the FIRST TIME, a pre-conference session for teachers who have been in the profession for fewer than three years. This session will take place the afternoon of October 11, 2012, as a wonderful way to begin the conference. We would also like to offer sessions throughout the conference designed especially to meet the needs of newer teachers.
